Wildwood Park is a calm 75-acre park that offers access to the 72,000-acre Clarks Hill Lake, which has the area's best spots for fishing and boating activities. The park is continuously voted the "Best Campground" in Columbia County and Metro Augusta by readers of the Columbia County Magazine.
Wildwood Park hosts multiple fishing tournaments each year, from local and regional, to larger tournaments for ESPN Bassmasters, American Bass Anglers, FLW, BFL and Georgia Bass Federation.
The park also is home to the International Disc Golf Center, Hall of Fame, and 3 Championship Disc Golf Courses.
Other recreation opportunities include paddle boarding, kayaking, boating, and swimming.
Overall amenities at the park include, 61 campsites (50 amp & 30 amp electrical w/water hook-ups, 6 large-mega boat ramps, large parking lot with 231 spaces, beach area, picnic area, and 7 covered pavilions. Wildwood Park offers clean restrooms and shower facilities in each camping area. Camping spots offer wood firepit, hammocks, and picnic tables.
The office is open 9AM - 5PM daily.

This park is located just outside of Augusta, Georgia and operated by Columbia County. Almost all of the RV sites are located along the lake. We found this park one of the most clean parks in Georgia. There are several boat docks, a nice beach, and plenty of camping, picnicking, and hiking locations. The RV spot fees are also more affordable than Georgia state parks. This is a place you should go out of your way to visit.
The park has good hiking trails to include the Bartram Trail. The Bartram Trail follows the approximate route of 18th-century naturalist William Bartram’s southern journey from March 1773 to January 1777. Bartram explored much of the territory which is now the states of North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee.
